Studios
Studios are required to submit a non-refundable, $15 per entry registration deposit to “hold” spots based on the total number of routines reserved. This deposit secures your routines for the upcoming season and will be applied toward your final balance.Example: I’d like to reserve 15 Team Routines (15 x $15 each) & 10 Solo Routines (10 x $15 each). Deposit to pay at time of registration $375.00
Independent Solo/Duo/Trio
A non-refundable, $15 deposit per routine. This deposit secures your spot for the upcoming season and will be applied toward your final balance.
All registration and payments must be submitted by the studio, unless you are registering independently and your studio is not attending the event. -
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and must be submitted through our official registration system. We do not accept entries via phone, text, email, or mail.
This year, we are introducing a more flexible registration process. Unless the event reaches capacity while routines are still on "Deposit hold" status, studios will have the ability to adjust routine counts until December 1st. This means you may ADD (if routine space is available) or REMOVE routines before final routine counts are due (December 1st) without penalty.

Once registration and payment are complete, a confirmation email, listing all registered routines will be sent 30 days prior to the event. It is the responsibility of the studio or individual to carefully review this information for accuracy. If any corrections are needed, please reply directly to the email within 5 Days.
Changes requested after the 30-day confirmation email will incur the following fees:
Less than 25 days prior to the event: $10 per email change
Less than 20 days prior to the event: $25 per email change
Less than 10 days prior to the event: $50 per email change
All change requests must be submitted by replying to the corresponding email. Phone calls/texts will not substitute for written requests, as email communication provides a verifiable timeline and record.
Any applicable fees must be paid in full at the time of the change via credit or debit card. Checks will not be accepted.

Payments may be made by credit/debit card or check.
Credit/debit card payments will incur a 2.9% processing fee+ $0.30 per transaction fee.
Check payments must be dated at least 60 days prior to the event date to avoid a late fee.

Payments not received in full 60 days prior to the event date will incur the following late fees each week:
Teams: $100 weekly
Solos/Duos/Trios: $25 weekly

Late is considered any time less than 30 days prior to the event. Late entries will only be accepted if:
Space is available in the competition
A $50 late entry fee is paid per routine
Full payment is submitted at the time of registration
Late entry fees and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

MISS / MR. SILHOUETTE AMABSSADOR
To become the Miss / Mr. Silhouette Ambassador is more than just another award—it is an exclusive honor that recognizes dancers who embody the true essence of Silhouette. Winners of the season will carry their crown into the next year as official SDC 2026–2027 Silhouette Ambassadors, proudly representing our core values: Exclusive*Professionalism*Excellence
As Ambassadors, these dancers will serve as role models both on and off the stage, representing the Silhouette brand.

ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY
To register for Miss / Mr. Silhouette Ambassador Program the following requirements must be met:
Entry Fee: $35 – Required
Improv Challenge: $5 – Required
Master Class: $40 – Required
Interview: Video submission – Required
WHEN REGISTERING PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ADD ON FEE OF $80 INCLUDES ALL REQUIREMENTS ABOVE. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MASTER CLASS AND IMPROV SEPARATLY IN ADD ONS OR YOU’LL BE DOUBLE BILLED.
Additional Guidelines
Dancer must be entered in at least one solo to be eligible
Dancers must register for Ambassador, Improv, and Master Class in order to participate
One Ambassador entry per dancer
If crowned, a dancer may only hold the Ambassador role every other year

MISS / MR. SILHOUETTE AMBASSADOR DIVISIONS
To honor dancers across all ages, the Miss / Mr. Silhouette Ambassador will be awarded within the following divisions:
Petite Miss / Mr. Silhouette — Ages 4–6
Mini Miss / Mr. Silhouette — Ages 7-9
Junior Miss / Mr. Silhouette — Ages 10–11
Teen Miss / Mr. Silhouette — Ages 12–14
Senior Miss / Mr. Silhouette — Ages 15+

JUDGING CRITERIASolo Routine
Each contestant must perform at least one solo routine, showcasing technical ability, artistry, and stage presence.Participation in Improv & Master Class
Participation in both the Improvisation Challenge and Master Class is required. While winning is not necessary, involvement demonstrates dedication, versatility, and a willingness to go the extra mile—qualities that align with the Silhouette standard.Interview Video Submission
This component provides our directors the opportunity to connect personally with each contestant. The session is designed to highlight the dancer’s authentic personality, professionalism, and character while capturing her/his presence through a professional photo shoot.************************************************
MISS / MR. SILHOUETTE AMBASSADOR RECOGNITION
The Miss / Mr. Silhouette Ambassador is accompanied by exclusive honors and opportunities, designed to celebrate and elevate each winner:
**Crown & Sash — symbolizing prestige, excellence, and achievement
**On-Stage Performance — Ambassadors will open awards with their solo routine in the next season if available
**Exclusive Ambassador Photoshoot — a complimentary professional session, with images provided for personal and promotional use (to be scheduled before the upcoming season)
**FREE Solo Entry for the Following Season
**Official Recognition — featured on the Silhouette Dance Championship website and social media as the official Miss / Mr. Silhouette Ambassador

The Miss / Mr. Silhouette Ambassador will have the honor of:
**Representing SDC values of Exclusivity, Professionalism, and Excellence during her/his term and at events throughout the year
**Participating in a photoshoot with the newly crowned Ambassadors
**Being featured in marketing: website, brochures, advertisements, social media, competition event signage, and more
**Sharing posts, stories, or videos on Ambassador social media platforms throughout the year
**Appearing at select promotional events on behalf of Silhouette Dance Championship
**Assisting in Master Classes as a role model and leader
**Hosting at the Ambassador Meet & Greet Booth to connect with dancers and families
**Walking on stage with the judges to help crown the new Winners
*Assisting in presenting awards during ceremonies

Dancers will train under the direction of top-tier industry professionals, gaining valuable insights and motivation that extend beyond the stage.
ENTRY DETAILS:
Cost: $40 per dancer through registration portal, $50 at the door
Duration: 2- 2.5 hoursMasterclass Instructors will be announced 60 day prior to event.
Masterclasses will be divided into age levels and age levels may be combine depending on final registration count.
Scholarship Opportunities
Exceptional dancers will be selected and awarded scholarships at each event. -
The Silhouette Improv Dance Contest
An exclusive moment where artistry meets spontaneity. Following the competition and before each age division’s award ceremony, the Silhouette Improv Dance Contest offers dancers the rare opportunity to captivate an audience and impress our judges with an unscripted performance that radiates elegance, creativity, and command of the stage.
How It Works:
Dancers will take the floor in small groups (depending on number of participants).
The music? A surprise—chosen to spark inspiration and test your musicality, adaptability, and stage presence.
Our judges will be looking for expression, originality, command of the stage, and the signature Silhouette standard of excellence.
ENTRY DETAILS:
Cost: $5 per dancer through registration portal or at the door.
Awards & Recognition:
Awards presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age division.
Cash prizes awarded to top placements.
Winners will be honored on stage during their award ceremony with exclusive accolades.
